For most airlines, there are 5 core phases within the flight attendant interview process. This includes your initial application, online assessment, video interview, one-on-one interview, and the “face-to-face” interview.

I have experience as both a regional and mainline flight attendant. While both jobs include the same tasks and responsibilities, there are a few key differences between the two that one should keep in mind when applying for a flight attendant position. 

After making it past the hurdles of the flight attendant interview process, you have finally received a job offer from your dream airline! You should be proud of yourself, but it’s not over yet! Now it is time to head to flight attendant training, and you MUST be prepared.

Your primary goal at this stage is to make an excellent first impression. The key to securing a job interview is by providing a flawless resume that showcases your skills and accomplishments.

Not only is a flight attendant responsible for ensuring the comfort of passengers but we are trained to handle an array of emergency situations. Whether it be experiencing extreme turbulence, a medical emergency, or even a hijacking, your flight attendant will be the first to take action.
